Many thanks to all who came out to enjoy the 6th Annual Christmas in Clayton Home & Art Tour!
Visitors enjoyed immaculately decorated homes while meeting ten of the area’s talented artists.
There was a wide variety of local artwork for ticket-holders to enjoy: jewelry, paintings, ornaments, note cards, trivets, and more!
Proceeds from ticket sales have gone toward funding teacher assistance grants through the Dorothy Demboski Art Teacher Assistance Grants. The grants help local art teachers fund special art in their schools. Dorothy Demboski was an artist and active member of CVA. In Clayton, she is most known for her Clayton Patchwork, the large mural at The Clayton Center. Ms. Demboski passed away in December 2013.
Stay tuned to learn more about how the creative art projects funded by the Teacher Assistance Grants are being used as the Spring 2018 semester progresses.
